Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Order Management Specialist for an immediate 4-to-8 week temporary assignment in Brooklyn, NY. This role provides critical daily operational support to process, track, and manage customer orders while our team works through current manual workflows and transitions to a more automated system solution.

The ideal candidate possesses hands-on ERP software experience, a strong grasp of order fulfillment cycles, and the ability to hit the ground running with minimal oversight.


Key Responsibilities

  • Order Processing & Data Entry: Accurately enter, validate, and route high-volume customer orders through manual processing steps and internal software workflows.
  • System Tracking & Auditing: Utilize NetSuite/ERP systems to update order statuses, manage fulfillment queues, and verify data accuracy from placement through shipping.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve order holds, address errors, pricing discrepancies, or missing data to prevent order fulfillment delays.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Communicate directly with logistics, inventory, and sales support teams to verify product availability and confirm delivery timelines.
  • Workflow Transition Support: Maintain structured documentation and clear data records to help bridge existing manual processes with automated software upgrades.


Requirements & Qualifications

  • Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with NetSuite is strongly preferred. Experience with alternative ERP or dedicated order management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) is required.
