Order Processing Specialist

Puresan is a leading supplier of equipment and supplies for disaster restoration, carpet cleaning, and janitorial professionals. We are looking for a full-time Order Processing Specialist to join our team of dedicated, ambitious professionals. Puresan offers a supportive team and advancement opportunities.

The Order Processing Specialist is responsible for managing customer orders and inquiries while leveraging technology to enhance operational efficiency and the customer experience. This role leverages traditional order processing tasks to handle order intake and processing. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of order processing experience.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Location: Wyckoff, New Jersey

Pay Rate: $23.50/hr

Order Processing Specialist Duties & Responsibilities:

Customer Interaction:

  • Answer all incoming calls and handle customer inquiries professionally.
  • Respond to customer requests via phone, email, fax, and online channels regarding quotes, orders, purchase orders, and concerns.
  • Accurately document all customer interactions in the company's software system.

Order and Account Processing:

  • Process customer quotes and sales orders, ensuring accuracy in products, quantities, pricing, and descriptions.
  • Set up and maintain customer accounts in the company software system.
  • Support sales representatives by processing quote and order requests, providing ETAs, and tracking orders.
  • Assist with customer pickup orders.

Service Request Management:

  • Process return merchandise authorizations (RMAs), dispenser service tickets, and machine service tickets efficiently.

Technology and Innovation:

  • Utilize a computer and other office technology to intake, organize, and process orders.
  • Identify inefficiencies in the current process and suggest or implement technology-based solutions.

Administrative Tasks:

  • Perform data entry into the company software system.
  • Sort and organize mail.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for easy retrieval of documents.

Order Processing Specialist Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of previous order processing experience. (required)
  • Basic computer knowledge and the ability to learn and use new systems quickly.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Critical thinking and ability to suggest new ideas for process improvement.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong ability to review and verify order accuracy
  • Exceptional multitasking and prioritization abilities to manage high volumes of orders.
  • Adaptable and comfortable working under pressure in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
