Puresan is a leading supplier of equipment and supplies for disaster restoration, carpet cleaning and janitorial professionals. We are looking for a full-time Order Processing Specialist to join our team of dedicated, ambitious professionals. Puresan offers a supportive team and advancement opportunities.

What You Will Be Doing

As an Order Processing Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service while accurately managing customer orders, quotes, account information, and service requests in a fast-paced environment. You will use your experience and judgment to make sound decisions with minimal oversight, ensuring customer needs are met efficiently and professionally. To succeed in this role, you should bring at least two years of order processing experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. If you are flexible, resourceful, and thrive in a dynamic team environment, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact for our customers and operational success.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (overtime as needed)

Location: Wyckoff, New Jersey

Pay Rate: $23.50

Order Processing Specialist Duties & Responsibilities:

Customer Interaction:

  • Answer all incoming calls and handle customer inquiries professionally.
  • Respond to customer requests via phone, email, fax, and online channelsregardingquotes, orders, purchase orders, and concerns.
  • Accurately document all customer interactions in the company’s software system.

Order and Account Processing:

  • Process customer quotes and sales orders, ensuring accuracy in products, quantities, pricing, and descriptions.
  • Set up andmaintaincustomer accounts in the company software system.
  • Support sales representatives by processingquoteand order requests, providing ETAs, and tracking orders.
  • Assistwith customer pickup orders.

Service Request Management:

  • Processreturnmerchandise authorizations (RMAs), dispenser service tickets, and machine service tickets efficiently.

Technology and Innovation:

  • Utilizea computerand other office technology to intake, organize, and process orders.
  • Identify inefficiencies in the current process and suggest or implement technology-based solutions.

Administrative Tasks:

  • Perform data entry into the company software system.
  • Sort and organize mail.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for easy retrieval of documents.

Order Processing Specialist Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of previous order processing experience. (required) 
  • An associates degree or higher in any related field. (preferred) 
  • Experience with ERP or WMS software is a plus. 
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Basic computer knowledge and the ability to learn and use new systems quickly.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Critical thinkingandability to suggestnew ideasfor process improvement. 
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong ability to review and verify order accuracy
  • Exceptional multitasking and prioritization abilities to manage high volumes of orders.
  • Adaptable and comfortable working under pressure in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
