Overview
This position is responsible for assisting the Warehouse Order Processor Supervisor with the performance of the warehouse order processing team. This role also may be required to pull and check orders to ensure all work is completed within allowed time constraints. This role assists in keeping the warehouse clean and safe. Daily work schedules vary according to business transactions and customer needs. Work shifts may include and require late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
What you will need
  • Be a minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Pass all pre-employment, background check and drug testing.
  • Have good interpersonal skills and be able to effectively communicate with vendors, managers and coworkers.
  • Be in good physical condition and capable of lifting in excess of 60 pounds, standing for extended periods of time, able to climb steps and ladders, and capable of bending, stooping, and carrying products up steps, stairs, and down ramps and walkways.
  • Have previous experience operating warehouse equipment including sit down forklifts, standing forklifts, and standing order selectors.
  • Have previous leadership experience of at least 3 years.
  • Have previous management experience of 4 or more people
How you will make an Impact
  • Prepare, communicate, and expedite branch product replenishment paperwork receiving and shipments.
  • Compile and complete change processes that occur daily as part of the branch system. This includes computer data entry and communication of changes to Chadwell Branch personnel and other Chadwell Supply departments as required.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact between the Chadwell Distribution Center and Chadwell Supply branch warehouse personnel.
  • Employee must strive to provide excellent customer satisfaction through prompt and accurate product inventory, selection, checking, receiving and preparation of paperwork and documents in addition to communication with company personnel.
  • Employee must provide a positive attitude, morale and cooperative spirit with other Chadwell employees. • Supervise and assist with product selection and transfer product packaging and palletization to ensure order pulling and shipment efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure that all inventory, receiving, and shipments are accurately recorded and tracked in the Chadwell Supply computer operating system.
  • Employee is responsible to work with management on inventory, receiving and shipment process changes as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
