About the Role
SEA Wire and Cable is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Administrative Order Entry Associate to support our order processing and administrative operations. This role is instrumental in ensuring accuracy and efficiency in managing customer orders. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a starting pay rate of $18.00 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately enter and update customer orders in our system.
  • Print necessary documentation to support warehouse operations.
  • Set up new customer profiles and maintain current account information.
  • Create and update part numbers to streamline order processing.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as filing, printing invoices, confirming pick tickets, and emailing paperwork.
  • Review and prioritize material receipts in the inventory system.
  • Ensure inventory records are promptly and accurately updated upon receiving merchandise.
  • Serve as a central point of contact across Sales, Warehouse, and Purchasing teams
  • Communicate order status, constraints, and expectations to stakeholders and customers
  • Support process improvement and team development through training, mentorship, and best practices

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient and accurate typing skills.
  • Professional written communication skills (especially email)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and procedures.
Physical Requirements
