Job description

ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Order Processing Manager to lead our high-volume fulfillment operation. You will be responsible for ensuring orders are picked accurately and shipped out on time while managing a team of 30-40 warehouse associates. We're also looking for someone who can bring a fresh perspective - reviewing our current systems and processes and recommending improvements where needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee daily order processing from pick to ship, ensuring accuracy and on-time fulfillment
  • Lead, schedule, and develop a team of 30-40 warehouse associates
  • Organize and prioritize the order of picking and outbound shipments
  • Monitor key metrics such as throughput, accuracy, and on-time shipment rates
  • Review existing workflows and systems and recommend practical improvements
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment

Requirements
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5+ years of experience in warehouse fulfillment, order processing, or distribution; more seasoned experience preferred
  • Supervisory experience required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
  • Ability to read and analyze operational reports and fulfillment metrics
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Ability to effectively communicate and present information to management, associates, and staff
  • Ability to conduct team meetings and lead shift briefings
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) or order management software
  • Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels

INDEPENDENT JUDGMENT Performs duties within the scope of general company policies, procedures, and objectives. Analyzes operational problems and performs needs assessments.
