Accounting Coordinator

Position Summary

We are seeking an Accounting Coordinator to join our team. This role works closely with Accounting, Sales, Operations, and Credit to support customer account management, order processing, invoicing, and account reconciliation activities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage a high volume of transactions while providing exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders. This position plays a key role in ensuring billing accuracy, maintaining customer account information, and supporting the overall order-to-cash process.

Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders and maintain accurate account information.
  • Support invoicing, billing, payment application, and account reconciliation activities.
  • Research and resolve account discrepancies, billing issues, and customer inquiries.
  • Manage customer account activity and documentation within Oracle and other business systems.
  • Partner with Accounting, Credit, Sales, and Operations to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and data accuracy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 0-2 years of accounting, billing, customer accounts, administrative, or related experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Eagerness to learn accounting processes and develop technical skills within Oracle.
