Job description

TreowGroup Recruitment, on behalf of our manufacturing client in the Niagara Region, is seeking an Office Manager.
About Our Client: Our client is an established, Niagara-based manufacturing company with a busy, hands-on office and production environment.
Job Summary: This role supports the day-to-day flow of customer orders, work orders, invoicing, shipping documentation and general office administration. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a manufacturing setting.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Location: On-site, Grimsby, Niagara Region
Work Hours: 8 am – 4:30 pm Monday – Friday
Compensation: $26 - $30/hour, RRSP match and employer-sponsored health benefits
Your Day-to-Day will Include:
Office Administration
  • Answer phones, take messages, greet visitors and monitor incoming email and mail.
  • Sort and distribute purchase orders, invoices, packing slips and other correspondence.
  • Maintain organized records and help keep the office running smoothly.
Order & Work-Order Processing
  • Enter customer orders and work orders in the E2 system.
  • Verify purchase orders, pricing, quantities, part numbers and job details.
  • Prepare order acknowledgements, job travellers and supporting production documents.
Invoicing & Accounts Payable Support
  • Prepare customer invoices and match signed packing slips with order documentation.
  • Process supplier invoices, match supporting documents and prepare them for review.
  • File invoices, purchase orders, packing slips and related records.
Shipping & Logistics
  • Prepare packing slips, shipping paperwork and U.S. export documentation.
  • Arrange customer pickups and coordinate trucking as required.
Experience & Qualifications:
  • Previous office administration, order-desk or similar experience.
  • Experience with customer orders, work orders, invoicing and basic accounts payable support.
  • Experience preparing shipping paperwork and packing slips.
  • Proficiency with ERP or order-entry systems; E2 experience is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and professional phone, email and customer-service skills.
  • Manufacturing or industrial experience is an asset.
