The North America Senior Sales & Operations Planning Manager is responsible for leading and orchestrating the end-to-end Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process across North America. This role ensures alignment between commercial, product, and supply chain functions to deliver a unified, feasible, and financially aligned plan. The role owns the monthly S&OP cycle spanning: Product Management Review, Demand Planning, Supply Planning and Executive S&OP Review. The objective is to balance demand and supply while optimizing service levels, inventory, cost, and revenue performance. The Senior S&OP Manager acts as the primary integrator across functions, driving decision-making, transparency, and accountability.

Responsibilities:
โ€ขOwn and continuously improve the end-to-end NAM S&OP process, calendar, and governance.
โ€ขEnsure structured, timely execution of all S&OP stages with clear deliverables and decision points.
โ€ขFacilitate cross-functional alignment and resolve conflicts between demand, supply, and financial objectives.
โ€ขPartner with Product Management to integrate product lifecycle plans (launches, phase-ins/outs, promotions).
โ€ขEnsure new product introductions (NPIs) and portfolio changes are reflected accurately in demand and supply plans.
โ€ขIdentify risks and opportunities associated with portfolio changes.
โ€ขLead the demand review process, ensuring a consensus forecast that reflects market intelligence and commercial inputs.
โ€ขChallenge assumptions and bias in forecasts using data, analytics, and historical trends.
โ€ขDrive forecast accuracy improvements and bias reduction initiatives.
โ€ขCollaborate with supply chain, manufacturing, and procurement teams to develop a feasible supply plan.
โ€ขEnsure alignment between supply capabilities and demand requirements.
โ€ขIdentify constraints, risks, and mitigation plans (capacity, materials, logistics).
โ€ขPrepare and present consolidated S&OP outputs to executive leadership.
โ€ขHighlight key gaps, risks, and decisions required (e.g., trade-offs between service, cost, and inventory).
โ€ขEnable fact-based decision-making through clear scenarios and recommendations.
โ€ขDefine, track, and report key S&OP metrics (forecast accuracy, service level, inventory, OTIF, plan adherence).
โ€ขDrive accountability across functions for performance outcomes.
โ€ขLead root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
โ€ขIdentify and implement improvements in S&OP processes, tools, and data quality.
โ€ขSupport digital transformation initiatives (e.g., advanced planning systems, analytics tools).
โ€ขPromote standardization and best practices across the region.

Qualifications:
โ€ขBachelorโ€™s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
โ€ข10โ€“15+ years experience in Supply chain, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, or S&OP/IBP roles.
โ€ขProven experience leading or managing an S&OP or Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process.
โ€ขStrong background in cross-functional leadership within a complex, highly operational organization demanding best in class results for its customers.
โ€ขThrives & deliver robust S&OP processes within a highly project-oriented business
โ€ขExperience in North America markets and understanding of regional supply chain dynamics.
โ€ขDemonstrated success in stakeholder management at senior leadership levels.
โ€ขExperience with planning systems (e.g., SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Oracle, Anaplan, Adaptive Planning) preferred.

Full Salary Range: $132,000/year (minimum), $141,000/year (midpoint), $150,000/ (maximum).

Pay is based on relevant experience, skills, education, internal equity, and market data. Well-qualified candidates can generally expect offers around the midpoint. Candidates who meet the minimum qualifications but have more limited directly relevant experience for this specific role are typically placed nearer the minimum, while highly experienced candidates with strong role alignment may be placed closer to the maximum.
