Responsibilities

The Supply Chain Analysis team is just one part of H-E-B's Corporate Planning & Analysis division, which develops / maintains budgets and systems while providing current, reliable financial data, analysis, and technical info. The Supply Chain Optimization team focuses on supply chain optimization and supporting / delivering systems applications to support strategic initiatives.
As a Supply Chain Analyst with Supply Chain Optimization, you'll develop processes, tools, reports, and provide data analytics to support H-E-B's supply chain strategic initiatives, such as inventory planning, logistics, and cost optimization.

What is the work?
Analytics:
- Independently identifies / documents / analyzes / implements / communicates solutions to meet the needs of the business
- Defines / documents current and future operational scenarios and work with other business areas / client groups to translate moderately complex business needs into solutions / business requirements
- Analyzes probable impact of recommendations and solutions on other business areas and client groups
- Contributes to cost / benefit analysis, design, and implementation of supply chain models for projects
- Provides support and resources for ad-hoc analysis requests, tools, development, and process improvement projects
Project Management:
- Manages medium complexity projects that may encompass technologies, facilities, processes, materials, handling systems, or other business initiatives
- Ensures project is on schedule, of high quality, meets departmental scorecard, and creates business value
- Contributes to project efforts / status, including developing project plans, schedules, risk assessments, and coordinating logistical team
- Manages / plans work, initiatives, projects limited to parts of a functional area
- Develops project management tools for Supply Chain
- Supports training and education services to teams and resources
- May support, in conjunction with project teams, delivery of processes, systems, processes, metrics, services

- Define, document, and maintain current supply chain processes while designing and implementing improved future-state processes to drive efficiency and consistency across the organization
What is your background?
- A related degree in Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain Finance, Industrial Engineering, or similar degree is required

- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Supply Chain Optimization: Experience gathering data, developing assumptions, analyzing multiple supply chain options, and providing clear and concise recommendations(preferred) OR

- Supply Chain Systems: Project Management Professional Certification OR
- Transportation Procurement: experience with freight term changes and logistics (preferred)
