Job description

Dekker is hiring a Construction Administration Coordinator to join our team. The Construction Administration Coordinator is responsible for providing support to Dekker Construction Administrators in facilitating project documentation and communication between the Construction Administrator, Design Team, and Contractor during project construction. As passionate and self-driven team members at Dekker, candidates would play a key role in creating inspired experiences for everyone they interact with, backed by support of a firm that has been a staple in the industry for over 60 years.


Responsibilities

  • Collaboratively engage in project work with responsibilities as assigned.
  • Provide support to Design + Construction Administration teams with administrative tasks in a timely manner. 
  • Assemble, logs, and distributes/posts construction administrative documents to the design team, consultants, owner, and contractor. 
  • Keep construction document set current as modifications/changes are made during construction. 
  • Identify and communicate project progress, accomplishments, challenges, and support needed to complete responsibilities.  
  • Organize project material samples.
  • Proofread proposals and presentations.


Qualifications

  • This is a hybrid work environment with 3 days onsite required. Applicants must live in the Albuquerque NM area. 
  • Associate’s degree or higher required.
  • 3 + years of relevant administrative or clerical experience required.
  • Experience in the AEC industry preferred. 
  • Ability to understand trade documents and knowledge of construction terminology 
  • Strong organizational management skills 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam 
  • Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and consultation skills
