Job description

General Job Description: Under the direct supervision of the Senior Enterprise HCM Manager, this position will be responsible for the Implementation of the Oracle HCM suite of solutions.  You will partner with Business Requirements, Testing, Documentation and Training teams. This position will partner with HR and IT teams in applying industry best practices to product configurations, consult within their teams on system capabilities and how to best leverage existing and new functionality, as well as translate HR business requirements into technology solutions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a senior functional and technical lead for Oracle Cloud HCM initiatives, partnering closely with HR, Payroll, Security, Integrations, Reporting, and IT teams to deliver scalable enterprise solutions.
  • Lead requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, production validation, and post-production support activities across Oracle HCM modules.
  • Configure and support Oracle Cloud HCM solutions including Core HR, Recruiting (ORC), Onboarding (ONB), Compensation, Security, Absence Management, Benefits, Time & Labor, and related functionality.
  • Provide consultative guidance to business stakeholders on Oracle HCM best practices, process optimization, and system capabilities.
  • Support quarterly Oracle Cloud releases including impact analysis, regression testing coordination, and adoption of new functionality such as Redwood UX/UI enhancements.
  • Collaborate with technical and integration teams on HCM Extracts, HDL/HSDL, BIP Reports, OTBI Analytics, REST APIs, OIC integrations, and downstream system integrations.
  • Develop prototypes and configuration solutions based on approved business requirements and provide recommendations for scalable long-term solutions.
  • Assist with troubleshooting, break/fix analysis, enhancement requests, and production support activities.
  • Mentor junior analysts and consultants, provide technical leadership, and contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in cross-functional project planning, status reporting, testing coordination, and stakeholder communications.

Position Requirements (Skills, Work Experience, Education, etc.):

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience supporting and configuring Oracle HCM solutions, including experience in large enterprise environments and full lifecycle implementations.
  • Strong functional expertise in Oracle Cloud HCM modules including Core HR, Recruiting Cloud (ORC), Onboarding (ONB), Compensation, Security, Benefits, Absence Management, and Time & Labor.
  • Hands-on experience with HCM data conversion and integration tools including HDL/HSDL, HCM Extracts, OTBI, BI Publisher (BIP), REST APIs, and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Proven experience partnering with business stakeholders through requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, production validation, and ongoing support.
  • Experience supporting quarterly Oracle Cloud updates, regression testing efforts, and user adoption of modern Oracle UI/UX capabilities including Redwood.
  • Demonstrated ability to support both enhancement initiatives and production support/break-fix activities in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
  • Strong understanding of cross-functional impacts across Oracle HCM modules and downstream integrated systems.
  • Experience mentoring team members, leading workstreams, delegating assignments, and driving process improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to effectively communicate highly technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience supporting enterprise reporting and analytics solutions including OTBI, BI Publisher, and data models.
  • Technical knowledge of Fast Formula, HCM Security, AME workflow setup, personalization, and integrations strongly preferred.
  • Experience working within consulting environments or supporting multiple enterprise clients is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience in industries such as construction, financial services, insurance, manufacturing, aerospace, or other large enterprise organizations is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Oracle Cloud HCM certifications are a plus.

Additional Skills/Abilities Preferred, but Not Required:

  • Construction industry experience is highly desirable.
  • Prefer additional Oracle HCM Cloud functional and technical expertise (Compensation, Reports and Analytics, Fast Formulas)
  • Oracle certification in Oracle HCM modules (Core HR, Recruiting Cloud, Compensation Cloud, Digital Assistant, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure)
  • Relevant experience in HCM Applications with implementation experience in 3 end to end projects

Hours: This is an exempt position. Workdays are scheduled from Monday through Friday. Typically, work hours begin and end between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm as scheduled with the position's supervisor. Occasional overtime may be necessary per business needs.

Travel: - 0- 5% only as needed to collaborate with partners.

Competitive Wages: 

$133,000 to $171,500 Annual Salary. Applicants please note that actual compensation is determined by several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location, among others. The offered wage or salary is only one aspect of an employee's total compensation.
