Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Manager of Acquisition Integration to play a key role in the integration of newly merged companies within our organization. The Manager of Acquisition Integration will collaborate with internal teams, leadership, and external stakeholders to manage the complex integration process, ensuring a smooth transition and alignment with company goals.
This role requires strong project management skills, attention to detail, and expertise in handling specific challenges of integrating newly acquired companies. If this sounds like you, we want to hear from you!
This position is an in-office role based in Orlando, Florida with likely travel (up to 25%) to our offices located throughout the United States.
Responsibilities
Here's What You'll Do:
  • M&A Integration Execution: Coordinate and support the end-to-end execution of integration plans for mergers and acquisitions, focusing on building stakeholder relationships and managing site-level change management activities throughout the transition.
  • Own the Meeting Lifecycle: Manage the end-to-end coordination of integration meetings, including scheduling, agenda development, and the immediate distribution of detailed summaries and action plans to all stakeholders.
  • Drive Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with functional leaders (HR, IT, Finance, Operations) and project teams to align systems, workflows, and communications with integration objectives.
  • Execute Process Improvement: Lead workflow mapping and gap analysis at the department level to implement changes that improve operational excellence and support business transitions.
  • Monitor & Report Progress: Track integration milestones and operational KPIs, providing status updates to leadership and escalating risks or roadblocks as needed.
  • Develop Resources & Mentorship: Assist in creation of integration toolkits, SOPs, and training materials while guiding cross-functional teams on best practices for process optimization

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field required.
  • 5+ years of experience in operations, project management, business process improvement, or integration support.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma); certification preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to collaborate across functions.
  • Proficiency with process mapping and project management tools is a plus

Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Leadership: 1-2 years of experience leading small teams or project workstreams, specifically supporting at least two post-merger integrations (PMI), process standardization, or operational change initiatives.
  • AI Proficiency: Hands-on experience utilizing AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Co-Pilot, Claude) to enhance productivity and streamline workflows.
  • Resourceful Self-Starter: High-energy professional with a strong sense of urgency and a proven ability to solve problems autonomously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Adaptable Team Player: Collaborative and flexible mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and remain positive as business priorities evolve

Travel Requirements
• This position requires extensive travel, approximately up to 25% of the time, in support of business objectives and client engagements. Travel may be both scheduled and on short notice, depending on project needs. Destinations typically include job sites, field locations, or regional offices, where work may be conducted in outdoor or operational environments. Adherence to all company safety protocols and use of PPE is required during travel and on-site work.

  • This position primarily operates in a professional office environment, requiring the ability to work at a desk for extended periods while using a computer, phone, and standard office equipment.
  • The position involves sitting for extended periods, performing data entry, and engaging in frequent communication via email, phone, and in-person interactions.
