This role is a critical member of the Port Strategy & Development team, responsible for leading the integration of operations into complex capital projects across Disney Cruise Line's island and destination portfolio.

The Senior Operations Integration Project Manager serves as a strategic integrator and operational leader, ensuring that new facilities, systems, and processes are seamlessly aligned with operational requirements, guest and crew experience standards, and enterprise objectives. This role partners across disciplines to drive execution from early concept through design, construction, and operational readiness.

Responsibilities

Strategic Integration & Project Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end integration of operational requirements across multi-disciplinary capital projects, including new builds, expansions, and infrastructure enhancements.

  • Manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously, ensuring alignment across scope, schedule, budget, and operational readiness objectives.

  • Serve as a key integration leader across the Island and Destination Planning portfolio, ensuring consistency with Disney Cruise Line standards and long-term strategic goals.

Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Act as primary liaison between Operations and key partners including Hotel Operations, Entertainment, Safety, Security, Technology & Digital, Finance, Legal, and Commercial teams.

  • Facilitate alignment across stakeholders to ensure operational requirements, functional adjacencies, and guest/crew experience considerations are fully integrated into project delivery.

  • Partner with enterprise functions (e.g., Business Integration & Communications, Risk Management, Marketing, Revenue Management) to support coordinated planning and execution.

Project Planning, Governance & Execution

  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans and schedules in partnership with Project Management and Operations teams, proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and opportunities.

  • Lead project governance activities including stakeholder forums, working sessions, and executive updates; drive decision-making and maintain alignment across leadership levels.

  • Prepare and deliver clear, concise presentations and recommendations to stakeholders ranging from frontline teams to executive leadership.

Operational Readiness & Documentation

  • Translate operational requirements into actionable plans, documentation, and deliverables to support design, construction, and turnover readiness.

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation including decisions, change requests, process flows, and supporting materials (e.g., drawing markups, site plans).

  • Support development of programmatic summaries and operational narratives that reflect intended guest and crew experiences.

Facilities Integration & Construction Support

  • Provide subject matter expertise during design and construction phases, including drawing reviews, submittals, RFIs, field coordination, and value engineering.

  • Ensure facility design and construction outcomes meet operational functionality, efficiency, and safety requirements.

Asset & Equipment Coordination (OFE)

  • Oversee tracking and coordination of Owner-Furnished Equipment (OFE), ensuring end-to-end visibility across procurement, logistics, delivery, and installation.

  • Identify and mitigate risks to delivery timelines, proactively escalating critical issues.

Continuous Improvement & Advisory

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner, providing expertise in operations integration, project delivery, and multi-disciplinary coordination.

  • Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance integration effectiveness, project execution, and organizational efficiency.

Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience leading complex operations integration, project management, or strategic planning initiatives in a multi-stakeholder environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale, cross-functional projects from concept through execution.

  • Strong executive communication skills, with experience presenting to and influencing senior leadership.

  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage competing demands in a dynamic environment.

  • Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with a solutions-oriented mindset.

  • Proven ability to build relationships, influence without authority, and drive alignment across diverse teams.

  • High attention to detail with the ability to synthesize complex inputs into clear, actionable insights.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet).

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting or leading facility construction or capital development projects.

  • Familiarity with design, construction, and operational turnover processes.

  • Experience in hospitality, cruise, theme parks, or large-scale destination environments.

Required Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, Communications, related field or equivalent experience

Preferred Education

  • Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM)

The hiring range for this position in Celebration, FL is $100,100 to $134,200 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
