We are advancing patented vortex-hybrid engine technology to deliver propulsion systems that meet the highest standards of safety, affordability, and sustainability. In the commercial market, our Dauntless launch vehicle provides reliable and cost-effective access to orbit. In defense, our hybrid propulsion systems support next-generation tactical, hypersonic, and missile defense applications.

As an Integration and Test Engineer in Operations, you will lead the planning, integration, and execution of propulsion system testing across both space launch and defense applications. This role is centered on hands-on ownership of fluid systems and test operations for rocket engines and associated subsystems, supporting development from early characterization through full-scale testing. You will serve as a key interface between test, propulsion, and design teams, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-fidelity test execution. The ideal candidate brings experience with propulsion systems and fluid system design/operations, along with working knowledge of data acquisition, instrumentation, and aerospace testing practices. This position requires a strong operational mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to drive test campaigns from setup through post-test analysis in a fast-paced development environment.

We are a fast-paced, mission-driven team tackling some of the hardest problems in aerospace. Success at Vaya requires personal leadership, strong technical skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
