Job description

About Fulltime AI

Fulltime is transforming how trade and service contractors engage with their customers using AI-powered voice technology. Our voice AI agents help HVAC, plumbing, and electrical businesses answer every call 24/7 so they never miss a customer call again. Owners win back time, capture more booked jobs, and deliver faster service. We are growing quickly with strong product market fit across North America.

About The Role

We are looking for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to build, lead and run day-to-day operations at Fulltime. You will own the full revenue system end-to-end: sales execution, demand generation, onboarding, customer success, renewals, and support. As a key member of the leadership team, you will help shape strategy and will be accountable for day-to-day execution and results.

This is a doer and builder role. You won't be managing mature processes; you'll be creating them. You'll spend time in the trenches (customer calls, closing, onboarding, resolving issues) while building the operational foundation that enables the company to scale. The ideal candidate is energetic, scrappy, highly organized, and thrives in ambiguity.

What You'll Do
  • Own end-to-end business operations: sales, demand generation, onboarding, customer success, renewals, and support
  • Contribute and drive the company's strategy to accelerate scaling
  • Build and lead our revenue engine: define the sales process, manage pipeline, improve conversion, close deals, and consistently hit growth targets
  • Create exceptional customer experiences: design and continuously improve onboarding, drive adoption, and maximize retention and expansion
  • Scale the team: recruit, coach, and develop high-performing talent as we grow
  • Shape go-to-market execution: refine messaging, positioning, and acquisition channels (partners, distribution, outbound, inbound)
  • Build systems and cadence: dashboards, KPIs, forecasting, operating rhythms, and the tooling required to scale
  • Nurture relationships with trade and service company owners, technology partners and other Valsoft businesses
  • Partner on product priorities: translating customer insights and revenue needs into clear priorities and feedback loops to improve outcomes
What You Bring
  • 4+ years of experience in a high-growth startup environment, product/operational leadership role, management consulting, or a high-agency role requiring significant autonomy and execution
  • Proven ability to build from scratch: you've launched initiatives, created repeatable processes
  • A founder mindset: you're comfortable rolling up your sleeves and doing whatever it takes to drive outcomes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills: you can earn trust with customers, coach teammates, and collaborate cross-functionally
  • Grit and resourcefulness with proven success of operating without a playbook
  • Data-driven and systems-oriented: you use metrics to prioritize, diagnose issues, and improve performance
  • Interest in AI and technology, and excited about bringing modern tools to traditional industries
  • Experience in trades, home services, or vertical SaaS is a strong plus
  • Fluent in English and French, written and verbal
Why Join Fulltime AI?
  • Immediate impact: as COO, you'll shape the operating DNA of the company and directly impact every customer
  • Fast growth: join an AI company with strong product market fit and a massive market opportunity
  • Accelerated learning: develop leadership, strategy, and execution skills in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Meaningful mission: help small business owners take back their time and grow their businesses
Ready to Build With Us?

If you're energetic, scrappy, and ready to build something exceptional from the ground up, we'd love to hear from you. Send your resume along with a brief note explaining why this opportunity excites you and what you'd bring to Fulltime.
