Job description

Position Title: Operations Coordinator
Salary Range: $60,000-$65,000 / Year, DOE
Join a fast-growing premium pet care company where operations, logistics, and customer experience converge. The Operations Coordinator will support the U.S. Operations, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Sales teams, helping ensure orders move accurately and efficiently from initial coordination through final delivery. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, knows how to stay ahead of dozens of moving pieces, and can use data to identify problems before they become bigger issues. The right candidate will bring hands-on logistics or warehousing experience, strong Excel skills, and the communication skills to work effectively across internal teams, customers, 3PL partners, and carriers.
Responsibilities
  • Track customer deliveries and proactively communicate delays, shipment updates, and potential service issues to Customer Service and Sales
  • Coordinate transportation and warehousing activities with 3PL and freight partners, primarily supporting LTL shipments
  • Support the full order-to-cash process, including order coordination, pick/pack/ship activity, delivery confirmation, revenue tracking and deductions
  • Track shortages, overages, and damages, support root cause analysis, and work with Operations and 3PL partners to resolve recurring issues
  • Analyze operational data and month-over-month trends using Excel, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables, to identify issues and support decision-making
  • File and track freight loss claims, coordinate shipments outside the primary 3PL network, and monitor shipments through completion
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Service and Operations to coordinate special orders, shippers, end caps and other customer-specific initiatives

Requirements
  • 2+ years of logistics or warehousing experience with direct exposure to logistics operations
  • Strong Excel proficiency, including hands-on experience with VLOOKUPs, pivot tables and spreadsheet-based data analysis
  • Experience with inventory control, shipment tracking, and LTL freight
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments, priorities and follow-ups simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate operational data into clear, actionable information
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn ERP systems, warehouse portals, and third-party platforms
  • CPG experience and familiarity with the order-to-cash cycle strongly preferred

Benefits
  • Competitive salary of $60,000-$65,000 DOE
  • Company-paid healthcare option
  • Approximately 20 vacation days plus 12 paid holidays
  • Hybrid work schedule with four days in the Phoenix office and Fridays from home following initial onsite training
  • Opportunity to expand your exposure across logistics, supply chain, customer service, inventory and broader operations

If you're organized, analytical, and energized by solving real-time logistics challenges, apply today and bring your operations expertise to a collaborative team where your work will have an immediate impact.
