Description:Shared Practices Group is a fast-growing multi-site healthcare organization (Dental Support Organization – DSO) with 45+ locations nationwide. We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead our accounting operations, financial reporting, and team development in a high-growth environment.


This role reports directly to the CFO and oversees the full accounting team.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead monthly close process and improve close timelines
  • Prepare GAAP financial statements across multiple entities
  • Manage revenue recognition (ASC 606) and reconcile variances
  • Maintain internal controls and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Lead audit preparation and external audit processes
  • Manage and develop a remote accounting team (AP, Tax, etc.)
  • Support multi-location expansion (entity setup, banking, ERP, payroll)
  • Own and optimize NetSuite ERP system


Requirements:


  • CPA required
  • 7+ years of accounting experience
  • 3+ years in Controller / Senior Accounting Manager / Accounting Director role
  • Experience in multi-entity, multi-location accounting
  • Healthcare, dental, or DSO experience strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition
  • Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
  • Proven experience managing remote teams
  • Experience supporting audits or private equity diligence preferred
