Summary
As a Site Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire month-end closing process, ensuring accurate financial reporting, focusing on operations controlling e.g. variance analysis of production orders, standard cost calculations and identification of saving potential. You will collaborate with Heraeus team members both locally and globally to ensure excellent process compliance and efficiency.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for accurate product costing, including the governance and review of standard cost updates, the simulation of cost estimates for new products, and the monitoring of product cost development.
  • Regularly review and assess production order variances, including the preparation of variance reports for the leadership team, and coordinate continuous improvement cycles.
  • Responsible for the performance assessment of our production, including regular monitoring of inventory development and the alignment of reduction measures with internal stakeholders.
  • Actively support all financial processes for month-end-closing, planning, forecast and reporting purposes
  • Lead and actively manage all controlling and financial issues, providing hands-on support to assist with site growth.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key personnel at the Shared Service Center and corporate controlling in Germany.

What is required for the role:
  • University degree in Finance or related fields, preferably with a major in Controlling.
  • 5+ years' experience in site Controlling in an industrial company (early career/mid level)
  • Experience using SAP R/3 or S/4.
  • Proficiency in MS Office software as well as knowledge in BI-Tools like Analysis for Office and Qlik.
  • Strong interpersonal skills paired with attention to detail and analytical ability
