Site Controller

Job Description
Our Site Controller leads all Accounting, Finance, and Business Analytic activities for a large e-commerce facility, dedicated to one Customer. This high visibility position reports to the Site Director and has heavy customer interaction.
In this Site Controller role, you will:
  • Work independently, while leading a functional team of associates
  • Lead interactions with Senior Leadership from both DHL and Customer
  • Create and get approval for DHL and Customer budgets, rolling forecast, and capital expenditure requirements
  • Be responsible for labor planning and management
  • Provide actionable insight based on analysis of volume and profile
  • Have oversight for Month End Close, Accounts Payable and Receivable
  • Ensure compliance with customer contract and service levels
  • Drive continuous improvement principles to optimize cost and efficiency
  • Be empowered to make decisions for the site

Required Education and Experience
  • Minimum 10-15 years prior Finance or Accounting experience, required
  • Prior experience in a logistics, manufacturing or warehousing business, preferred
  • Strong systems skills - Oracle and Essbase, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access and other Web Development Languages, required
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to make recommendations for action
  • Strong people skills - ability to lead a team and build relationships with various functions
  • Must enjoy working in an intense, fast paced, and sometimes ambiguous environment
