Position Summary

The Site Controller requires a detail-oriented skillset to partner with the local leadership and work closely with the parent company’s Accounting and FP&A teams in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, analytics, and internal controls. This role must be able to work independently and with the highest level of integrity.

Key Duties and Essential Functions
  • Analyze and provide insight into key financial areas, including sales, gross profit margins, operating costs, and working capital.
  • Oversees all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Sales Tax filings, and Revenue Recognition.
  • Prepares month end, quarter end, and yearend financial statements.
  • Ensure business processes and accounting policies are adhered to and provides ongoing support to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Oversees the use of ERP software to ensure processes are followed and data accuracy is maintained.
  • Assists with supporting any audit questions
  • Review and understand upcoming projects (backlog) and pipeline to build short and long-term forecasts.
  • Analyzes variances from budget and prior periods, discusses results, provides insight and recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • Involved in modeling and contracting for larger jobs, ensuring accurate forecast of profitability, and identifying risks in T&Cs.
  • Ad hoc analysis and modeling as needed, including investment cases.
  • Contributes positively to group culture and employee/customer relationships.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and departments to address evolving business needs.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • 7+ years of related experience.
  • Ability to problem solve and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Natural curiosity to follow the data to the correct answer.
  • Ability to gain “buy-in” and challenge the status quo in a collaborative manner.
  • Independently motivated.
  • Able to cultivate strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with project management finance a plus
  • Experience with globalshop

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is minimal.
