Job Summary
- Dress Code: Casual (Jeans and T-shirts allowed; no holes, political statements, profanity, or open-toe shoes)
- No driving required
- Interview conducted via phone or MS Teams (virtual)
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Open and process incoming mail promptly and carefully
- Remove all contents from envelopes without damaging documents
- Remove all staples, paper clips, binder clips, and other fasteners
- Ensure pages are separated and not stuck together
- Organize and sort documents by department or processing category
- Identify and separate multi-page documents as needed
- Apply correct barcode or cover sheet to each department’s documents
- Ensure proper placement of cover sheets for scanner recognition
- Inspect documents for tears, folds, or sticky notes that could interfere with scanning
- Flatten pages and repair minor document damage
- Group and batch documents for scanning; align pages to prevent jams/misfeeds in scanner
- Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs (e.g., copy paper boxes, packages)
- Utilize walk-up copier/multifunction device as needed
