Job description

Title: Compliance Officer
Location:ย ย Lauderdale, Fl 33309
Pay Rate: $38/hr to $40/hrย ย 
Contract: 2+ Months extendable contactย 
Handle complaints related to condominiums, timeshares, and mobile homes in a dynamic public-facing role. You'll ensure fair resolutions while delivering exceptional customer service in a professional state agency environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Contact complainants to discuss complaint details and gather information.
Review Florida statutes, analyze complaints, and determine the Division's jurisdiction.
Provide clear advisories on case closures, including reasons and appropriate resources/referrals.
Draft and send supervisor-approved written correspondence to complainants.
Close cases in Versa by adding codes, activities, and statutes.
Document all actions thoroughly in the OnBase system.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Ability to speak and understand English (Required).
High school diploma (Required).
Excellent written and oral communication with the public (Required).
Ability to read and interpret Florida State Statutes (Required, 1 Year).
Experience working with the public in a professional environment (Required, 3 Years).
Experience analyzing public complaints (Required, 1 Year).
Experience using Versa (Highly Desired).
Experience using OnBase system (Highly Desired).
Bachelor's Degree (Highly Desired).
