The role of the Trainee Broker encompasses support for the broker desk during the daily trading cycle, back-up for broker confirmations, and assisting the office manager as needed in daily tasks. Training will be provided.ย

Compile analysis of prior day's trading volumes and enter data into corresponding spreadsheetso Domestic Canadian and Rockies internal market recaps

Update and maintain Wallboard market information
o Marketview, Posting Plus
Learn and utilize the Bloomberg terminal and Link page

Keep public folder Contacts up to date
Generate ranking reports and revenue reports weekly
Execute relevant reports for both internal use and client submission
o Link Daily Report- enter trades and generate report
o Forward Curve-enter values and generate each report daily
o Canadian Report- enter values and generate report
Assist brokers in writing up daily transactions as they occur in real time
o Pointer
Drafting deal sheet
Distribute completed deals sheets to brokers.
Distribute broker approved deal sheets to Access Confirmer
Deal Sheet Revisions
Redistribution of recaps between brokers
o Inputting deals in E-Confirm Compare entries with Access, recaps and deal sheets
