Job Overview
PTC - PMO Project Management Resource - Transportation Technologies
Description of Duties
โ€ข Manages and coordinates the activities of internal and/or external staff involved in multiple IT projects of varying complexity.
โ€ข Develops and maintains project plans and other artifacts as required using PTC or other established project management standards, procedures, templates, and methodologies.
โ€ข Coordinates with business owners and other analysts to define and refine the project scope.
โ€ข Performs project management duties through the entire project lifecycle, including initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing.
โ€ข Conducts lessons learned sessions during and after projects to identify recommendations for improvement.
โ€ข Develops and maintains a productive working relationship with technology staff, business owners, project sponsors, vendors, and key clients.
โ€ข Adheres to the PTC PMO Playbook and referenced artifacts.
โ€ข Perform tasks and other duties as related to this position and role and assigned by the Commission.
Desired Skillset
โ€ข The ideal candidate will have project/project management expertise in projects of various size and subject matter, including but not limited to integration, scope, schedule, cost, communication, vendor, and risk planning and management.
โ€ข Experience related to Long-haul Fiber Networks, Facility/Campus Data Networks, Wireless connectivity, Wi-Fi Networks and Unified Communication technology.
