Lead the Operating System Behind Project Success
JSET Automated Technologies is seeking an experienced PMO Program Manager to lead and continuously improve our Project Management Office (PMO) operating system.
This strategic leadership role is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and optimizing the standards, governance processes, reporting frameworks, project lifecycle requirements, and execution tools that drive successful project delivery across the organization.
The PMO Program Manager serves as a key partner to Operations Leadership, Project Management, Construction, Controls, and QA/QC teams to ensure projects are executed consistently, risks are identified early, and best practices are embedded throughout the project lifecycle. This role is responsible for improving how projects are managed across the organization while driving operational excellence, standardization, accountability, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do
PMO Leadership & Governance
  • Own and maintain JSET's Project Management Office operating system
  • Develop and improve project lifecycle standards, governance processes, and project management frameworks
  • Standardize project startup, execution, recovery, turnover, and closeout practices across the organization
  • Manage project management templates, workflows, standards, playbooks, and execution tools
  • Drive consistency and accountability across the Project Management organization
Project Health & Performance Management
  • Lead project health review processes and governance meetings
  • Monitor project performance, risk indicators, execution trends, and operational metrics
  • Develop and oversee project recovery processes for at-risk projects
  • Partner with operational leaders to identify and resolve execution challenges
  • Escalate critical project risks and organizational process issues when appropriate
Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across project management processes
  • Facilitate lessons learned reviews and implement organizational improvements
  • Update standards, SOPs, templates, training materials, and reporting tools based on project performance
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, visibility, consistency, and project outcomes
  • Support change management and adoption of new PM processes and tools
PM Training & Development
  • Develop and maintain PM onboarding and training programs
  • Create project management standards, execution guidance, and process documentation
  • Support competency development across Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers
  • Promote consistent adoption of governance processes, reporting standards, and execution expectations
Reporting & Executive Visibility
  • Develop and maintain PMO dashboards and reporting tools
  • Create meaningful project health, risk, recovery, and performance reporting
  • Provide Operational Leadership with actionable insights into portfolio performance
  • Support data-driven decision-making through effective reporting and governance processes
Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Construction Leadership, Controls Leadership, QA/QC, and Operations teams
  • Ensure project management processes align with organizational quality requirements and execution expectations
  • Support readiness reviews, closeout processes, governance reviews, and organizational improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, Operations Management, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in PMO leadership, program management, project controls, operational excellence, business process improvement, project governance, or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing project management standards, governance processes, or operating procedures
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycle management and project execution best practices
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives without direct authority
  • Experience facilitating executive reviews, governance meetings, or operational reviews
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leading or supporting a Project Management Office (PMO)
  • Experience in construction, industrial, manufacturing, technology, mission-critical infrastructure, engineering, or trade-based environments
  • Experience with project governance frameworks, stage-gate processes, or project lifecycle management
  • Experience developing dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and operational reporting
  • PMP Certification
  • Lean, Six Sigma, Operational Excellence, or Continuous Improvement experience
  • Experience with Power BI, Microsoft Lists, Procore, Smartsheet, ERP systems, or project management software platforms
