Position Overview:
As the Manager of the Project Management Office (PMO) at Holley, you will drive process leadership and development, ensuring the success of the Project Management Office through strategic oversight, process optimization, and technology integration. A key focus of this role is excellence in new product launches, which are critical to the company’s growth and market leadership. Your responsibilities will also include deploying, maintaining, and ensuring consistent adherence to established procedures while nurturing continuous improvement, development, and implementation of the business processes across Holley.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project and Process Leadership:
    • Lead the PMO with a focus on establishing and continuously improving standards, processes, and best practices to ensure project success.
    • Oversee a diverse portfolio of projects, prioritizing based on strategic importance and resource availability.
    • Drive excellence in new product launches, critical to company growth and market leadership.
  • Team Management:
    • Directly manage and mentor teammates, fostering their growth and alignment with organizational goals.
    • Partner with Business Divisions (BU leads, PMs, PjMs, etc.) to ensure consistent application of project management practices across the company.
  • Platform and Business Process Development:
    • Deploy, maintain, and improve Holley’s project management platform to support efficient execution of all projects.
    • Support the creation & expansion of key initiative impacting the Product Development Process at various functional levels (Product, Engineering, Operations, Marketing, Sales, etc.)
  • Lead & enhance operational efficiency process mapping initiatives, own the document control process, and continuously implement process improvements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with department heads and project teams to foster cohesive communication, coordination, and alignment across all projects.
    • Facilitate executive project review meetings, providing strategic insights, performance updates, and recommendations.
  • Strategic Planning and Budget Management:
    • Develop and oversee project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
    • Manage project budgets in collaboration with finance and project teams, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost control.
  • Performance Monitoring:
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and measure project performance.
    • Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership and stakeholders, focusing on continuous improvement of processes and project outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA, MS) is a plus.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in project management, including leadership roles, preferably within a dynamic and complex organizational setting.
  • Related Project Management certification (CAPM, PMP or ACP) from an accredited organization such as PMI is required.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on process leadership and development.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective cross-functional teamwork, stakeholder management, and presentation of project strategies and reports.
  • Analytical mindset and data-driven approach, utilizing insights to make informed decisions throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Strategic thinker capable of translating high-level plans into actionable project plans and objectives.
  • Experience in budget management and financial analysis for project initiatives.
  • Experience with document control processes, process mapping, and process improvement.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
