Job description

Office Intern

WinnCompanies is seeking an ambitious Office Intern to join our team at Plaza Borinquen, an 88-unit affordable housing community located in Bronx, NY.

This is a great opportunity to learn career skills and money management, while gaining professional experience and building your resume. You will be exposed to maintenance, construction, finance, property management, and resident services.

The pay for this role is $19 per hour. Please note that this is a temporary part-time position, which is not eligible for Winn benefits and will work 24 hours per week.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform administrative duties in support of the property.
  • Assist the staff with general in/out office duties.
  • Assist in special projects.
  • Perform ad-hoc clerical tasks.
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in high school or college program.
  • Less than 1 year of relevant work experience.
  • Interest in property management.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of people and personalities.
  • Willingness to learn new concepts and software.
