Seattle-based general contractor specializing in residential remodeling is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team. At Model Remodel, we're a collaborative, long-tenured group where people genuinely support each other and take pride in their work. We are seeking an Administrative Assistant with at least 2 years of office administration experience to perform a variety of administrative tasks while supporting our team, clients, and day-to-day operations.
Job Description:
The role of the Administrative Assistant at Model Remodel is to manage general administrative activities and assist with daily office needs while being a helpful, positive presence in the workplace. This role serves as a primary point of contact for office visitors, clients, and team members and plays an important part in keeping office operations organized and running smoothly. The Administrative Assistant should be reliable, professional, highly organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this position.
Job Requirements:
  • Must consistently demonstrate professionalism and mutual respect in all interactions
  • 2+ years of experience in office administration (preferred)
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to ensure smooth office operations
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for visitors, clients, and incoming communications
  • Maintain organized office systems including filing, data entry, and supply management
  • Coordinate scheduling, meetings, and general administrative support for team members
  • Support multiple departments (operations, HR, and marketing) with administrative coordination as needed
  • Assist with maintaining common office spaces and coordinating basic office and vendor needs
  • Track and route incoming inquiries and support basic administrative systems and reporting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to learn new systems and adapt to changing priorities
  • Occasional errands as needed; valid driver's license and reliable transportation required

  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, and walking throughout the office

  • Ability to perform detail-oriented work and review information on a computer screen for extended periods
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and via electronic communication.
