What is a nursing simulation lab instructor?

A Nursing Simulation Lab Instructor is a professional who facilitates hands-on learning experiences for nursing students using simulation technology and realistic scenarios. They design, implement, and assess simulation exercises to help students build clinical skills, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities in a safe and controlled environment. These instructors often use mannequins, virtual patients, and other tools to create lifelike medical situations, providing feedback and guidance to enhance student learning.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a nursing simulation lab instructor?

To thrive as a Nursing Simulation Lab Instructor, you need a solid background in nursing education and clinical practice, typically with a BSN or MSN and valid RN licensure.
