Social Worker (Day Shift)
Location: Atlanta, GA, 30342
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Shift: Day Shift (Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Weekly Pay Rate: $1,840 - $2,000; (Negotiable based on experience)

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Social Worker for a 13-week contract role based in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will support patients and families by offering trauma-informed care, completing psychosocial assessments, and coordinating resources across emergency and other clinical service areas.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop care plans.
  • Complete child protection assessments as needed.
  • Provide crisis intervention, trauma support, and end-of-life counseling.
  • Connect patients and families with appropriate community and hospital resources.
  • Collaborate with medical and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Document all activities and services in EMR (Epic preferred).

Qualifications:

  • Required:
    • GA or Multi-State LCSW license.
    • Open to candidates with GA LMSW (Social Worker 1) or LCSW (Social Worker 2).
    • Minimum of 2 years of relevant social work experience.
  • Preferred:
    • BLS Certification.
    • Pediatric experience in a healthcare setting.
    • Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system.
