As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Serenity Mindscape, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to identify the mental health needs of students and developing individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that focus on both immediate and long-term wellness goals.
• Implementing various therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to meet the unique needs of each student, fostering resilience and coping skills.
• Maintaining accurate, timely clinical documentation, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations and superior standards of confidentiality and ethics.
• Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team, including school psychologists and counselors, to devise a comprehensive care plan that encompasses not only mental health but also educational and social development.
• Participating in regular case consultations and peer review meetings aimed at enhancing practice and outcomes, sharing insights and strategies with team members.
• Providing education and resources to students and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources, fostering a supportive network that empowers them in their journey.
• Staying informed about the latest research and advancements in mental health to continuously improve service delivery and client care.

This position directly serves adolescents in the school setting, addressing a wide array of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, and trauma-related challenges. Your role will be key in identifying early signs of distress and providing timely interventions to help students overcome barriers to their academic and personal success.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in providing psychotherapy services, with a focus on adolescent mental health.
• A strong understanding of solution-focused and evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored for young populations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills that facilitate rapport-building with clients, families, and the educational community.
• Proficiency in problem-solving and critical thinking, essential for addressing complex challenges that arise in a school setting.
