Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Serenity Mindscape, your responsibilities will include:

  • Participating in regular case consultations and peer review meetings aimed at enhancing practice and outcomes, sharing insights and strategies with team members.

  • Staying informed about the latest research and advancements in mental health to continuously improve service delivery and client care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This position directly serves adolescents in the school setting, addressing a wide array of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, and trauma-related challenges. Your role will be key in identifying early signs of distress and providing timely interventions to help students overcome barriers to their academic and personal success.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia.
  • A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in providing psychotherapy services, with a focus on adolescent mental health.
  • A strong understanding of solution-focused and evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored for young populations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills that facilitate rapport-building with clients, families, and the educational community.
