Job description

The Behavioral Health LCSW provides specialized psychosocial support to transplant patients and their families, addressing behavioral health needs throughout the transplant continuum. This role focuses on promoting sustained wellness, adherence to medical and behavioral recommendations, and improving quality of life through evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

This role focuses on promoting sustained wellness, adherence to medical and behavioral recommendations, and improving quality of life through evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

Education

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work Required

Work Experience

  • 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in behavioral health or transplant/medical setting Required
  • Experience with addiction specialty Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

  • Eligible for licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Georgia. Upon Hire Required
  • Professional certification as one of the following: Preferred
  • NCAC - National Certified Addictions Counselor NCAC II Preferred or
  • CADC - Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor or
  • CAC, CAC I, or CAC II or
  • CCS or
