Duration:ย 13 Weeks Contract
Guaranteed Hours:ย 36 hours per week
Weekly Pay Rate:ย $1,800 - $1,980;ย (Negotiable based on experience)
Schedule:
  • Thursday: 5:30 PM โ€“ 8:00 AM
  • Friday: 5:30 PM โ€“ 6:00 AM
  • Saturday: 6:00 PM โ€“ 6:00 AM

    Position Summary:

    We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Social Worker to join our healthcare team on a 13-week contract assignment in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will provide professional social work services in an Emergency Department/Acute Care setting, assisting patients and families with psychosocial needs, care coordination, and discharge planning.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide clinical social work services to patients and families in the Emergency Department or inpatient acute care units.
    • Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop intervention plans.
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient care and discharge planning.
    • Offer crisis intervention, counseling, and resource referrals to patients and families.
    • Advocate for patientsโ€™ needs and ensure continuity of care post-discharge.
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC (Electronic Medical Record system).
    • Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, state and federal regulations, and ethical standards of social work practice.

    Requirements (All Required):

    • Licensure:
      • Active GA LCSW or Multi-State LCSW required.
      • Will consider candidates with GA LMSW licensure.
    • Experience: Minimum 2+ years of clinical social work experience in a hospital, acute care, or emergency department setting.
    • Certification:
      • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred.
    • Skills:
      • Proficiency in EPIC EMR system required.
      • Strong communication, critical thinking, and crisis management skills.
    • Preferred Experience: Pediatric or family-centered care experience is a plus.
