Job Description

Job Function Summary: WAN consolidation - Enterprise data and voice

Prinicpal responsibilities: -- Oversight of staff that will perform network monitoring and problem resolution -- Ability to mentor and guide junior team members -- Experience network management automation and reporting -- Experience with incident/ problem/RCA process and improvement -- CCNP or CCDP certification desired (R/S desired) -- Familiar with Solarwinds and ServiceNow tools -- Advanced network troubleshooting skills and ability to multitask and lead troubleshooting -- Familiar with enterprise network and voice designs -- Deploy and operate state-of-the-art data center and campus network -- Experience installing and troubleshooting Cisco wireless infrastructure -- Experience installing and troubleshooting MPLS and DMVPN infrastructure -- Experience with troubleshooting Cisco Anyconnect remote access -- Experience with installing and troubleshooting Riverbed WAN optimizers -- Experience with Cisco Call Manager infrastructure

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or engineering discipline or related field. Minimum of 5 years managing network operations team Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst, ISR, Nexus, and ASAs, Checkpoint firewalls, Juniper SAs, Riverbed/Cascade, and various other network technology Thorough understanding of network protocols and packet analysis for advanced troubleshooting Understanding of companion infrastructure domains: storage, server technologies (hardware, network interface cards, operating system optimization), databases, virtualization. Experience with the engineering and operation of enterprise class installations. Extraordinary problem solving abilities. A passion for technology. Always questioning and working to improve. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
