Job description

Job Tittle: Lease Connectivity Engineer

Location: New Albany, OH (Onsite)

Duration: 12 Months (High probability of extension)

Schedule: 4 days x 12 Hour shifts (day/night options available)


We are hiring a Lease Connectivity Engineer to support large-scale, mission-critical infrastructure deployments in leased data center environments. This role is focused on ensuring that network connectivity systems are built, validated, and deployed according to design standards, timelines, and quality expectations.


You will play a key role in managing connectivity vendors, overseeing fiber and network infrastructure builds, and driving successful provisioning and turn-up activities.


Required Qualifications

  • 8–12+ years of experience in: Data center infrastructure OR telecom network deployment
  • Strong hands-on experience with: Fiber / OSP (Outside Plant) infrastructure, Network provisioning / turn-up, Rack / patch / stack activities
  • Background in: ISP / telecom or large-scale network environments
  • Experience managing: Vendors, contractors, or field teams


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in hyperscale or colocation data centers
  • Exposure to construction + network deployment overlap
  • Strong understanding of: QA/QC, audits, and commissioning processes, Project lifecycle delivery (build → turn-up → handoff)


Key Responsibilities:

Connectivity Deployment & Execution

  • Oversee installation of fiber and network infrastructure (OSP + ISP integration)
  • Ensure completion of rack, patch, and stack activities to defined standards
  • Support network provisioning, activation, and turn-up troubleshooting
  • Conduct connectivity validation, link audits, and issue resolution tracking


Vendor & Field Management

  • Manage site-level vendors and contractors
  • Ensure adherence to design specifications, quality benchmarks, and safety standards
  • Drive issue escalation, resolution, and delivery accountability


Project Coordination

  • Maintain project schedules, milestones, and field updates
  • Support RFI responses and change order processes
  • Partner with engineering, construction, and operations stakeholders


Quality & Audits:

  • Perform QA/QC checks on network infrastructure deployments
  • Track metrics such as: Audit completion rates, Issue resolution timelines, First-time pass rates
