Title: Network Installation Travel
Location: 100% Travel - Candidates must be located near a major airport.
Duration: 6-Month Contract ( extension likely )
Compensation: $40-50/HR

Travel Requirements
  • 100% travel required (Monday-Friday travel schedule).
  • Travel to customer sites across states including but not limited to VA, NJ, MD, FL, GA, SC, NC, TN,.
  • All travel expenses (airfare, hotels, rental cars, mileage, and per diem) are company-paid or reimbursed.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and be comfortable with frequent overnight travel.

Position Overview
We are seeking a Network Installation Technician to install, configure, and support network infrastructure and connected technology systems at customer locations across the U.S. This hands-on, field-based role is ideal for someone with experience in structured cabling, network hardware deployments, low-voltage systems, and basic network troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
  • Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot structured cabling (Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6a) and network hardware, including switches, patch panels, and wireless access points.
  • Deploy and configure Verkada or similar access control and security systems, including readers, controllers, door hardware, and low-voltage cabling.
  • Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues, verify IP addressing and VLAN configurations, and work with engineering teams to resolve more complex issues.
  • Maintain installation documentation, equipment records, and network diagrams while coordinating with customers, vendors, and internal teams.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience with structured cabling, low-voltage installations, or network infrastructure deployments.
  • Experience with network hardware installations and access control/security systems (Verkada preferred).
  • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including IP addressing, VLANs, DHCP, and switching.
  • Experience using cable testing and certification tools.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively throughout the U.S.

This role is approximately 70% installation and 30% network troubleshooting and technical support. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on installation experience along with a solid foundation in networking.
