The Opportunity

We are seeking a NetDocuments Administrator to join our Firm. This position is primarily remote, with occasional in-person presence required in our White Plains, NY office. The NetDocuments Administrator is responsible for the administration, configuration, maintenance, and support of the NetDocuments cloud-based Document Management System (DMS). This role ensures optimal system performance, secure user access, seamless integration with enterprise applications, and compliance with organizational policies and legal or regulatory requirements.

  • Administer and maintain the NetDocuments platform, including cabinets, workspaces, profiles, templates, and system settings.
  • Configure and manage security policies, user roles, groups, and access permissions.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure system reliability and availability.
  • Perform system maintenance, upgrades, and configuration changes as needed.
  • Provide technical support for NetDocuments users across the organization.
  • Diagnose and resolve system, access, and application integration issues.
  • Develop, maintain, and deliver documentation, training materials, and best practice guides.
  • Conduct training sessions for power users and administrators.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate NetDocuments with enterprise applications.
  • Support and maintain API-based integrations, workflows, and automation solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes through automation and system enhancements.
  • Administer document retention policies, audit trails, and governance controls.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, legal requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain metadata standards and document lifecycle management processes.
  • Support information governance and records management initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with NetDocuments Support and account representatives.
  • Coordinate issue resolution, product updates, and enhancement requests with the vendor.
  • Monitor software licensing, usage, renewals, and user provisioning.
  • Demonstrates effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective work relationships with others.
  • Manages Firm resources responsibly.
  • Complies with and understands Firm operation, policies, and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, NetDocuments, and current Windows OS
  • Experience with scripting or automation technologies such as PowerShell, NetDocuments REST APIs, NetDocuments Toolkit
  • Strong understanding of document management principles, information governance, metadata, and security best practices.
  • Experience with Single Sign-On (SSO), Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), and cloud-based application integrations.
  • Knowledge of compliance and information governance frameworks
  • Knowledge of relevant firm computer software programs, with the ability to learn new software and operating system
  • Knowledge of general testing procedures and methodologies
  • Familiarity with software architecture and development processes
  • Excellent documentation and reporting skills
  • Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrates close attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and planning skills

The starting base salary for this position is expected to be within the range listed under Salary Details. Actual salary will be determined based on skills, experience (to the extent relevant) and other-job related factors, consistent with applicable law.

$120,000 - $135,000
