Job description

We've partnered with a respected Massachusetts-based law firm that is actively seeking an experienced Estate Administration Paralegal to join its growing team in Worcester, MA. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and compassionate legal professional who enjoys working closely with clients and attorneys on sophisticated probate, guardianship, conservatorship, and estate administration matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and file probate, guardianship, and conservatorship petitions

  • Draft probate pleadings, inventories, accountings, and related court filings

  • Assist with all phases of estate administration, including asset collection, distributions, and fiduciary documentation

  • Coordinate communications with clients, courts, financial institutions, and outside parties

  • Maintain case files, calendars, and filing deadlines

  • Support attorneys with hearings, legal research, and document preparation

  • Assist with fiduciary and estate-related administrative processes


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of paralegal experience preferred, particularly within estate administration, probate, elder law, or trusts & estates.

  • Familiarity with Massachusetts probate court procedures and filings.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced legal environment.

  • Experience with guardianship and conservatorship matters is highly preferred.
