Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Attorney – Probate & Trust Administration to assist clients with probate proceedings, trust administration, estate planning, and elder law matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estate administration, probate litigation and procedures, fiduciary responsibilities, and client counseling. This role requires excellent legal drafting, communication, and relationship management skills, along with the ability to guide clients through complex estate and trust matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage probate and trust administration matters from initiation through final resolution.
  • Advise clients on probate, estate planning, trust administration, and elder law matters.
  • Draft and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, advance directives, and related estate planning documents.
  • Prepare probate petitions, court filings, legal correspondence, and supporting documentation.
  • Represent clients in probate court hearings and related legal proceedings.
  • Guide executors, trustees, personal representatives, and beneficiaries through estate and trust administration.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable probate laws, fiduciary duties, and estate administration requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while providing exceptional legal counsel.
  • Conduct legal research and remain current on changes in probate and estate planning laws.

Required Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Active Arkansas Bar license in good standing.
  • Experience in:
    • Probate Administration
    • Trust Administration
    • Estate Planning
    • Elder Law
  • Strong knowledge of probate court procedures, estate administration, and fiduciary obligations.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, drafting, and analytical skills.
