Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Coordinator, Talent Acquisition – Business Services to join our firm. This position will be based in our Washington D.C. office (hybrid). The Business Services Professional teams are a critical component of the firm's success, and we need an innovative recruitment professional to drive our US Business Services Professional recruitment and talent acquisition strategies. The role will advise leaders on attracting, assessing, and onboarding talent, utilize direct recruitment strategies and agencies, and oversee onboarding and orientation of new hires to ensure successful integration into the firm.

Responsibilities
  • Advise hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies, utilizing various sources to market and advertise position vacancies.
  • Screen resumes, schedule and conduct interviews, utilize the applicant tracking system, and refer qualified applicants to the appropriate hiring manager.
  • Leverage data and analytics to implement tactics aligned with our hiring strategy.
  • Proactively seek feedback from hiring managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting strategies and implementation.
  • Develop feedback mechanisms from candidates to ensure a leading and positive candidate experience.
  • Facilitate the offer and onboarding process for new hires, including creating offer letters and reviewing background check results.
  • Enhance the recruitment service to the business through upskilling hiring managers on recruiting practices and using systems and technology to make service efficient.
  • Maintain contact with external employment-related agencies and attend career fairs, consortiums, and related events to build a pipeline of quality candidates.
  • Develop candidate pools and direct commercial recruiting strategies to give Skadden an edge in the competitive talent market, including employer branding and recruitment campaigns.
  • Ensure recruitment efforts comply with EEO and OFCCP federal regulations.
  • Stay current on recruiting operations trends, market practices, and relevant employment processes to support continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrate effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to facilitate relationships with others.
  • Manage firm resources responsibly and comply with firm operations, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience recruiting across a broad range of business verticals, including Technology, Finance, Business Development, and Marketing.
  • Strong sourcing expertise using LinkedIn, job boards, employee referrals, networking, and other creative sourcing channels.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and planning abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple sensitive searches and shifting priorities while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment, discretion, and sound decision-making, while collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and remain flexible to adjust hours as needed.
  • Experience using Workday or a similar enterprise-level applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and employment regulations.
Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree required. Minimum of 5 years of talent acquisition/recruiting experience, preferably within fast-paced, high-growth, or complex environments.

Salary

$105,000 - $120,000
