Job description

DMS / NetDocuments Administrator

The DMS Admin will be focused on supporting the NetDocuments including managing configurations, integrations, upgrades, enhancements, reporting and maintenance. You'll also be providing escalated support for end users and providing training.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Resolve cabinet, workspace and document access issues. This will include working with both Service Desk personnel and end users.
  • Troubleshoot NetDocuments errors. This includes interpreting error messages and diagnosing issues with integrated applications (i.e. MS Office, Outlook, etc). Must be able to work with vendors and/or other internal technical resources.
  • Assist with evaluation of new NetDocuments releases & testing and implementation of new functionality as needed.
  • Provide support for our cloud based NetDocuments application including updates, configurations, integrations, enhancements, and troubleshooting.
  • Provide support for related systems and integrations including Intapp Walls, Litera CAM, SSRS reports, various other reporting tools, cloud integrations, data warehouse data integrations, and security components.
  • Research new applications and/or application features both independently and by management request. Formulate recommendations and implementation plans. These recommendations require analysis of the overall solution both from a backend and front end perspective.
  • In conjunction with other technology teams, establish and maintain appropriate test environments and define application test plans which identify which team is responsible for each level of testing.
  • Evaluate, test and integrate new software and upgrades to existing software. This may also entail identifying web server requirements.
  • Define desktop packaging requirements and prepare applications for installation into the production environment using Firm standard tools and methodologies.
  • Monitor all components of the DMS environment for security, performance and stability.
  • Interface with NetDocuments and other vendors as appropriate to resolve problems.
  • Using a variety of means, maintain a high level of current awareness of new technologies and technology trends with assigned applications and areas of discipline.
  • Provide after-hours on call support. Work as needed during monthly maintenance window.
  • Generate adhoc reports using SQL queries.
  • Perform document imports and exports including generating metadata spreadsheets.
  • Review training materials for accuracy and completeness.
  • Documenting processes and procedures.

Skills We're Seeking

  • 2+ years of experience with DMS Administration or Engineering
  • At least 1+ year of experience with NetDocuments Administration / Engineering

Nice To Haves

  • Experience writing SQL queries
  • Experience automating processes with PowerShell or other scripting languages
  • Citrix experience
  • Experience with other legal applications such as Intapp, Litera, etc.
  • Experience using SSRS to develop reports
