Law Firm Accounting SpecialistPhoenix (Biltmore Area) | Hybrid | Part-time | 40–45 Hours/Month

Established boutique law firm in the Phoenix Biltmore/Camelback Corridor is seeking a part-time Law Firm Accounting Specialist to manage day-to-day accounting operations.

This is a hands-on role responsible for the full accounting cycle—from transactional entry through monthly financial reporting—including law firm trust (IOLTA) accounting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and experienced in law firm accounting, with the ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and consistency.

This role offers a stable, professional environment, a flexible part-time schedule, and the opportunity to take ownership of the firm’s accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Full-cycle accounting (A/P, A/R, general ledger)

  • Monthly bank and credit card reconciliations

  • Three-way IOLTA trust reconciliations in compliance with Arizona requirements

  • Process and properly allocate client payments (including LawPay)

  • Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)

  • Monitor A/R and assist with reporting on outstanding balances

  • Work within firm systems, including MyCase (billing) and QuickBooks Online Advanced

Required Qualifications
  • Law firm accounting experience required, including IOLTA/trust accounting

  • 3+ years of full charge bookkeeping/accounting experience

  • Experience with MyCase and QuickBooks Online Advanced

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to work independently and meet monthly deadlines

Compensation and ScheduleHourly Rate - $40-$43Schedule
  • 40-45 hours per month, in-office (weekly schedule is flexible)
