Position at Giant Music LLC

Join us for an internship with Giant Music, an independent record label built by the Azoff Company to help artists achieve their goals in the contemporary music business. Position Overview:

Currently looking for a Fall 2026 A&R Research intern!

As an A&R Research intern, you will assist with weekly research meeting spreadsheet and charts. Data science background/majors preferred or combined interest/experience in A&R.

Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, target demographics, and potential collaborations and other opportunities for artists.
  • Assist in evaluating the commercial viability and potential success of artists and projects.

Creative Input:

  • Offer creative input and ideas to contribute to the artistic direction and branding of artists.
  • Brainstorm innovative marketing and promotional strategies to enhance artist visibility and reach.

Qualifications:

  • Current college sophomore or above.
  • LA Based / In Person Work (min. 3 days/week)
  • Overall agnostic passion for music – you appreciate all genres and styles and have a strong interest in pursuing a career in the music industry.
  • Experienced and active user of social media, including TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat and you are knowledgeable about social media trends & pop culture news
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple high-priority tasks in a fast-paced and diverse commercial environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with music industry software/tools such as Chartmetric, Notion, Expensify is a plus!
  • Have a flexible class schedule and access to your own vehicle for reliable transportation

  • Our office is in Westwood Village, Los Angeles, CA.
  • Pay: $18.42 per hour
  • Expected hours: 20-29 hours per week
