Our mission is to deliver unparalleled cloud advisory, engineering, financial management, and security services while continuously learning and innovating to stay ahead of industry advancements. Guided by a culture of collaboration and humility—where being "Team AWSome" means leaving egos at the door—we tailor our services to meet the unique needs of technology-enabled startups, mid-market, and enterprise clients. With a focus on execution, agility, and excellence, we are the trusted partner businesses rely on to navigate the complexities of cloud modernization and achieve their strategic objectives.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and customer-obsessed Cloud Engagement Manager to lead enterprise-level AWS engagements focused on migration, modernization, and AI-driven transformation.

This role serves as the primary bridge between our clients, AWS, and Aligned TG’s delivery teams—owning the relationship, outcomes, and successful execution of multiple concurrent projects. The Cloud Engagement Manager ensures every engagement delivers measurable business value while maintaining the highest levels of client satisfaction and technical integrity.

The ideal candidate blends strong delivery oversight, customer relationship management, and business acumen with a solid understanding of AWS technologies and modern cloud delivery frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for enterprise clients during active AWS engagements.
  • Oversee multiple concurrent projects, coordinating across delivery teams, architects, engineers, and AWS partner resources.
  • Drive overall client satisfaction, ensuring each engagement achieves its business and technical outcomes.
  • Facilitate project governance, including steering committees, executive updates, and financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with AWS account teams and Aligned TG sales leadership to identify and shape new opportunities.
  • Ensure delivery excellence across all engagements by aligning scope, timelines, resources, and client expectations.
  • Translate complex technical initiatives into business value statements that resonate with executive stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify risks and manage mitigation strategies to maintain momentum and client trust.
  • Track performance against KPIs, budgets, and success metrics while driving continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to internal playbooks, templates, and methodologies that elevate Aligned TG’s engagement management practices.
What You’ll Gain
  • Strategic Impact: Lead transformational AWS programs that reshape how enterprises innovate and scale.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside world-class cloud architects, engineers, and data specialists to deliver tangible client outcomes.
  • Leadership Growth: Develop advanced client and delivery management skills in a high-visibility, customer-facing role.
  • Trusted Partnerships: Build lasting relationships with executive stakeholders across both client and AWS organizations.
  • Team Culture: Thrive in a "Team AWSome" environment built on humility, collaboration, and relentless execution excellence.
Qualifications Required Experience
  • 8+ years of experience managing enterprise cloud or technology programs, preferably within AWS, consulting, or MSP environments.
  • Proven success delivering complex AWS initiatives, including cloud migrations, modernization, or AI/ML-driven projects.
  • Strong background in client relationship management and executive-level communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with cloud delivery methodologies (Agile, Scrum, hybrid) and program governance.
  • Financial literacy and experience managing budgets, forecasts, and profitability metrics.
Technical & Business Requirements
  • Solid understanding of AWS core services, cloud architecture principles, and modernization strategies.
  • Ability to connect technology outcomes to business value and strategic objectives.
  • Familiarity with FinOps practices and AWS Well-Architected Framework.
  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner required; AWS Solutions Architect Associate or higher preferred.
  • Comfortable working closely with technical delivery teams and AWS field organizations.
Leadership & Relationship Skills
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with executive presence.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic mindset with an ability to influence at all levels.
  • Skilled in expectation management, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
  • Collaborative leader who motivates teams and fosters a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and resilient under pressure.
Professional Attributes
  • Customer-obsessed, outcome-driven, and focused on long-term client success.
  • Confident yet humble—embodying Aligned TG’s "Team AWSome" culture of learning and shared achievement.
