Job description

As a Lead Sales Representative here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth, expanding the customer base, and strengthening Honeywell's position within the United States mining and mineral processing market.

In this role, you will impact the company's sales performance and overall business success by developing new accounts, leading strategic business development activities, and advancing new opportunities through the sales process. This role is focused on new business and new customer acquisition, including bringing "New Logos" to Honeywell within mining operations, mineral processing facilities, metals production, and related process-driven industrial segments.

Your ability to build strong relationships with key customers, identify new business opportunities, and align Honeywell's solutions to customer outcomes will position Honeywell as a leader in the industry while driving growth and market share.

Honeywell Process Solutions is a pure-play process automation business, and in this role, creative problem-solving, collaborative partner enablement, and the integration of advanced software solutions are critical areas of technical competence required for success.

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand Honeywell's customer base within the United States mining and mineral processing industry.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities with mining operations, mineral processing facilities, metals producers, and related industrial customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their operational needs and aligning Honeywell's automation, control, and software solutions to their desired outcomes.
  • Leverage an established mining and mineral processing network to initiate immediate customer meetings and accelerate opportunity development upon onboarding.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support customer onboarding, solution development, implementation planning, and ongoing customer success.
  • Analyze market trends, customer priorities, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and strengthen Honeywell's market position.
  • Lead new opportunities through the sales process, including account planning, value proposition development, stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and closure.

The annual base salary range for this position in California, New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, and Washington State (excluding most major metropolitan areas); and anywhere in Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Minnesota, and Vermont is $145,000 - $181,000.

Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

This role is incentive-eligible for sales performance.

You Must Have
  • 8+ years of direct sales experience within the United States mining and mineral processing industry.
  • Established mining and mineral processing industry network in the United States with the ability to initiate immediate customer meetings once onboarded.
  • Experience selling to mining operations, mineral processing facilities, metals producers, or related process-driven industrial customers.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets, developing new accounts, and driving revenue growth.
  • Expertise in developing and executing sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and advancing opportunities through a complex sales process.
  • Knowledge of market analysis, customer needs assessment, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
