We have an immediate opening for a Sales Representative in our Phoenix, AZ branch


The Sales Representative reports to Branch Manager. This position will play an integral role in communicating with our current clients, which will include visits to client locations.  The successful candidate will also be responsible for building additional new business in territory of Arizona, California, Oregon, Washington and Alaska. The ideal candidate must have experience in a similar position and have a professional manner with the ability to deal with a diverse group of people.


Responsibilities:

Sales & Service

  • Prepare and conduct presentations to key and prospective customers including mining companies & tire dealers for on and off highway mining truck wheels & parts
  • Visit mining sites and meet with key stakeholders/decision makers to build relationships and promote RIMEX products
  • Create quotes and proposals
  • Create Customer Orders in the ERP when required
  • Communicate and troubleshoot problems in shipping deadlines including delays caused by production timelines
  • Research and qualify new markets and opportunities.


Education:

  • Completed post-secondary education in a technical or mechanical field of study or equivalent experience


 Other Skills & Abilities

  • 5 – 10 years sales experience preferably in an agricultural, manufacturing, distribution or mining environment
  • Intermediate level skills in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc)
  • Previous experience with ERP software (CSI) an asset
  • Knowledge of mining wheels and associated parts
  • Self-motivated
  • Flexible at prioritizing workload to meet deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with a diverse group of people and ability to deal with challenging situations
  • Demonstrated ability in public speaking and influencing clients and stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Adaptable, flexible and able to work well under pressure
