We are a leading provider of heavy equipment solutions for the hydraulic mining industry, known for our dedication to reliability and customer service. As we continue to grow our presence across the U.S., we are looking for a self-driven and mechanically inclined Outside Sales Representative to join our team and serve customers throughout the Eastern and Southwestern regions.
Position Summary:

The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships with hydraulic mining operations, promoting our line of heavy equipment and services, and supporting equipment delivery when necessary. This position requires regular regional travel, including driving a flatbed truck and pulling a trailer to deliver equipment and parts when needed.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage relationships with customers in the hydraulic mining industry.
  • Identify sales opportunities and generate new business in assigned regions.
  • Provide technical assistance and solutions for customers using heavy equipment.
  • Conduct on-site visits to customer locations for equipment demos, service follow-ups, and relationship management.
  • Coordinate and sometimes assist with equipment delivery by operating a flatbed truck and trailer.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely order fulfillment.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and territory performance.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in heavy equipment, construction, or mining industries.
  • Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment, especially related to hydraulic mining applications.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability and willingness to drive a flatbed truck and pull a trailer (CDL preferred but not required).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage time and territory with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to travel extensively across the East and Southwest regions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CDL License (Class A or B)
  • Experience with hydraulic mining operations or mining equipment
  • Technical or trade background in heavy machinery
