Job Title: Mining Sales Representative
Location: 2251 Silver Creek Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76108
FLSA Classification: Exempt
Position Type: Full time or Part time
Typical Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am- 5:00pm
Pay Range: $80k/year DOE
About the role:
  • This is a hunter sales role focused on prospecting, face-to-face client engagement, processing orders, and closing deals. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced sales environment.

What you'll do:
  • Report directly to the Sales & Marketing Director.
  • Work closely with our Mining Operations Director, Manager and Supervisor
  • Assist with quotes and samples
  • Grow and manage existing and new accounts.
  • Utilize sales tools that include various prospecting websites.
  • Use Microsoft Office products and various computer software systems.
  • Learn about SCM mining products and processes.
  • Be active in the Mining market and focus on making visits, meetings and interactions with customers, focusing on customer needs and highlighting the value of products to their opportunity.
  • Build and maintain a sufficient network within customer business.
  • Collaborate with team members to promote SCM products and services.
  • Work with the Finance & Accounting department for any payment or invoice issues.
  • Adhere to all applicable safety policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Perform all other duties assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience. 5+ years' experience in business-to-business sales; construction experience is a bonus.
  • Ability to think strategically and systematically.
  • Proven track record of increasing customer base and profitable revenue in a competitive environment year over year.
  • Have experience with CRM software. NetSuite CRM experience is a plus.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication with both internal and external customers.
  • Have worked in or around the construction field or understand construction in general.
  • Must possess a valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to travel locally to visit customers and call on potential customers.
  • Bilingual is preferred but not required.
