Job description

Join the Experts in Fleet & Heavy Equipment Glass Services

Founded in 1996 and headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina, Fleet Glass Services (FGS) is a trusted leader in glass repair, replacement, and installation for fleet vehicles, specialty units, and heavy equipment. We proudly serve fleet managers, maintenance teams, mining operations, and risk management professionals across the region.

Our technicians are highly trained and committed to delivering exceptional service with a strong focus on quality, safety, and reliability. At FGS, we don’t just fix glass — we keep fleets moving. We are growing and expanding rapidly and have additional locations in GA, TX, FL and SC.

About the Role

We're looking for an Outside Sales Representative to join our growing team at FGS. In this role, you'll focus on developing new business and maintaining strong customer relationships, with a primary emphasis on Core Hydraulics products, services, and solutions . You'll work closely with fleet operators, construction companies, mining operations, industrial contractors, equipment owners, and other commercial clients to help keep their equipment operating efficiently and minimize downtime. If you enjoy building relationships, solving customer challenges, and driving business growth, this is an exciting opportunity to make a direct impact on our success.

What You'll Do

As an Outside Sales Representative at FGS, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers
  • Identifying opportunities to grow sales of hydraulic components, repairs, hose assemblies, cylinders, pumps, motors, and related service solutions
  • Expanding business within fleet, construction, mining, industrial, agricultural, and commercial equipment markets
  • Conducting in-person customer visits, site assessments, and product presentations
  • Preparing quotes, proposals, service agreements, and equipment recommendations
  • Collaborating with operations, service, and technical teams to ensure customer needs are met
  • Managing customer accounts and sales activities through CRM systems
  • Responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Staying informed on hydraulic industry trends, competitor activity, and market opportunities
  • Promoting additional FGS solutions, including automotive and commercial glass products and services, where appropriate
  • Traveling regularly within the assigned territory (company vehicle provided, if applicable)
Bonus If You Have
  • Experience selling hydraulic products, industrial equipment, heavy equipment parts, or maintenance services
  • Experience working with fleet, transportation, mining, construction, manufacturing, or agricultural customers
  • Knowledge of hydraulic systems, mobile equipment, heavy machinery, or related industries
  • Existing relationships within the regional industrial, construction, fleet, or equipment markets
Why Join FGS?

At FGS, you'll have the opportunity to represent both Core Hydraulics and FGS service solutions while building long-term partnerships with customers who rely on quality products, responsive service, and expert support. Your success will directly contribute to the growth of both organizations and the customers we serve.

This version makes it clear that the position is primarily a Core Hydraulics sales role, with glass products becoming a secondary opportunity rather than the main focus.
