# Infrastructure & Military Housing - OriginatorGuggenheim InvestmentsVPInfrastructureOn-siteLocationNew York, United StatesCompensationAnnual base salary $170,000.00-$175,000.00Date PostedAugust 6, 2026RegionAmericasStay ahead of the marketGet instant notifications when new job openings matching "Infrastructure / VP jobs in New York, United States" are published.## About This Role**Role overview**Guggenheim Investments is hiring an Originator for its Infrastructure & Military Housing team in New York City, leading debt and equity transactions across new debt originations, legacy loan acquisitions, structured solutions, restructurings, and recapitalizations.**Key responsibilities**- Serve as team lead on infrastructure and military housing debt and equity transactions, including first lien, mezzanine loans, B-notes, and preferred equity- Independently cultivate and maintain relationships with capital sources, counterparties, and sponsors to source new transactions and secondary market opportunities- Conduct market research and data analysis to identify new investment opportunities and support product/credit standard development- Lead underwriting, due diligence, deal structuring, and execution, including negotiation of term sheets and finance terms- Develop and present written analyses, modeling, documentation, and marketing materials for investment opportunities- Collaborate with Portfolio Managers on transaction surveillance throughout the asset lifecycle- Identify, plan, and execute transaction exits โ€” sale, refinancing, restructuring, or liquidation**Qualifications**- BA/BS degree or equivalent- 5+ years of related experience in real estate investment management, including 3+ years of real estate fundraising experience- Detailed knowledge of the Municipal sector, market operations, and opportunities- Proficiency in Bloomberg, Aladdin, Python, and Microsoft Office- CFA pursuit preferred**Compensation & location**Based full-time in Guggenheim Investments' New York City office.
